The two of us worked together at a very busy Fire Station in Downtown Norfolk, Virginia for several years. Over this time, we responded to many fires that originated in a chimney or dryer vent, but the one thing we have seen the most is No Working Smoke Detectors. One day after returning from a fire, we looked at each other and said what a great idea it would be to start a company that could service these safety needs. Many people are unaware that chimneys and dryer vents need preventative maintenance to operate safely. Also, it is a known fact that Smoke Detectors Save Lives!
